Kirkii (Synaptolepis Kirkii)
Synaptolepis Kirkii is a bluish-green shrub with striking porcelain white roots. Kirkii is a so called ‘Ubaluwa’ herb. This is the name associated with the plants of Southern Africa that are used to induce dreams of ancestral spirits and opens minds to receive the messages of the ancestors.
Usage
Kirkii is traditionally used by the Zulu and Xhosa as an ingredient of a sacred root infusion. It is taken just before going to sleep, to aid in generating spiritual dreams.
